Soul food heaven ....they have the best tasting food in Southern Maryland I was really satisfied with the service and the wait for the food was no longer than 6 minutes

Good seafood at reasonable prices. The service was quick and the personal were professional, a refreshing change for food service. I strongly recommend that you make it a point to visit very soon.

The fried oyster platter comes with 2 sides. The fried oysters were fried perfectly but they were a little too salty, the mac n cheese was just ok, and the greens were ok. A little more than what I was expected to pay. A platter, a soda, and some cake for $24.91.

Very filling. Friendly service. Clean restaurant. Corn in hush puppies! I had catfish. But, they have plenty of seafood and no seafood options.

Hadn't been in long time. Food was good hot and fresh. Had scallop dinner. Scallops not over breaded...cooked just right. Sides were mac n cheese, cabbage and sweet potatoes all good. Sweet potatoes weren't overly sweet. Reasonably priced. Will go back soon.

My food was good. The location to home is perfect. The parking lot is a little dark and the strip mall is also dank. A little pricey for a carryout.

I think if they wrote down the ingredients for seasoning the food woukd stay consistent in taste. You never know that it will taste like. Under seasoned, over seasoned.

The fried trout was good. The prices was high. It would have been worth the price If the sides were good. I had mashed potatoes that TASTE like they were from a box. Thickened by water and the greens were too sweet.

Eating here yesterday, we enjoyed a great home-style meal of perfectly fried white fish and salmon cakes, with tasty sides. The service was excellent, and the prices very fair.

This is the only restaurant in the area that offers down h ome soul .food 7 days a week. Plus they cater! The sweet potatoes, cabbage, & f ried f ish I had were excellent. My husband also enjoyed his pork chops and our daughter's turkey wiings were succulent. We'll shurely return Yumm! We also liked its casual atmosphere.

I been going to this school food establishment for a while. Food is seasoned and good, and they have lots of choices. The wait time is a little long but I like that because that means you know they are coooking it fresh and it's not sitting somewhere ready to go. I've had the chicken wings, Whiting and meatloaf and pretty much all the sides at some point. Very good. Best choice to go, after home cooking.

Customer service is important guys. How you talk to your patrons is a big part of it too

A hidden gem! Delicious seafood cooked to perfection. To top off your meal, you must try the wonderful strawberry Hennessy cake.

An awesome local "soul food" gem. Was in town for 1 day and asked a local working at my hotel for a recommendation of local...small spot to get some good stick to your ribs home cooking, soul food (it was a Sunday visit). This place was recommended so grabbed an Uber .... so glad I did! They do plenty of to-go orders, especially on a Sunday (church services were letting out) as I saw several going out. My froemds and i Ordered one of every appetizer... white fish... catfish.... we snatch the last order of crab legs, Greens, mac and cheese, Hush Puppies!!! Everything was absolutely!! Our only sorrow was having to leave Leftovers on the table as we knew we wouldn't be able to take a to go box through airport security.

Read the reviews decided to try it out ... So not impressed at all . Food was mediocre at best , I tried the fish , fried shrimp greens Mac and cheese all bland. Customer service leaves something to be desired. I’d have to be starving to try again.
